GIS Data

IRIS is a collection of data from a variety of sources. The categories below provide a general framework for exploring the variety of data layers within IRIS. Data can be explored using one of the browser-based mapping applications, by downloading the data for use in a geographic information systems (GIS) or generating a report.

Documented Fish Range Maps WMS

Range maps for 150 fish species in Iowa. HUC-8 boundaries are used to define range limits. Two services are available.

Predicted Fish WMS

Predicted fish maps for fish species in Iowa. HUCs and NHD river and stream segments are used to define predicted presence. Two services are available.
